About the WAPSF

YOUR SPORT - YOUR WAY

The Western Australia Police Sports Federation Inc. (WAPSF) was established in 1986 to enhance the physical health and fitness of all members and employees of the Western Australia Police Force.

Our aim is to promote, strengthen and advocate participation in sport and recreational activities for our members. We believe that sport has the power to influence and connect people.

With over 2,000 members, throughout both metro and regional Western Australia, the WAPSF is a member focused group. The WAPSF aims to provide a membership that is both relevant and valuable. The WAPSF Board aim to achieve this through the WAPSF App, new and improved Member Benefits, Sponsorship and Grants to it's members and access to WAPSF relevant events, such as;

- WAPSF Sports Awards, which recognises our amazing members achievements throughout the year.

- WAPSF Run Events

- WAPSF continued support of State, National and Internationall Championships, the Australisian Police and Emergency Services Games and the World Police and Fire Games.

All WAPSF Members receive a complementary members t-shirt upon joining the WAPSF

Events

WAPSF Members will be able to attend a number of WAPSF events or sponsored events during the year.

Monetary Subsidy

Members competing in sporting events Locally, Nationally and Internationally are able to access reimbursements from the WAPSF.

Membership

Membership to the WAPSF are open to all Current and Retired members of the Western Australia Police Force. For more information on our Membership please see our Membership Procedure.

Membership with the Western Australia Police Sports Federation (WAPSF) provides opportunities to participate in competitive and non-competitive physical activities to enhance your physical health and mental wellbeing.

Joining the WAPSF, provides its members with a monetary subsidy for their costs of actively participating in their chosen sporting and / or recreational activities. This includes taking part in events such as the HBF Run for a Reason and City to Surf. In 2020 we will see the WAPSF promote 'Token Activities', where members will be encoruage to take part in different physical activities, such as Yoga and Boot Camps, and also be able to receive a monetary subsidy. Also commencing in 2020, is the ability for Regional WAPSF Members*, to claim a subsidy to their chosen sporting activity.

Membership with the WAPSF comprises of 26 fortnightly payments of $5.00 to a total membership fee of $130.00 per year.
